God love Sheryl Crow, lord knows I do, but seriously, in these pictures, I’m totally expecting to sadly inform me that she can no longer do 55. In any case, I’m hoping she’ll have shaken off this strange look by the time she’s ready to perform for the first annual Girlfrenzy music festival. It’s set to take place October 27th and Sheryl will be joined on-stage by other acts such as Fiona Apple and Avril Lavigne. Since I am a fan of any and all sorts of things that can be described as a “frenzy,” I think it sounds like something I would like. And now that I think about it, Girlfrenzy totally evokes the image of what happens when I don’t get enough sleep and attempt to make it up by drink way too much coffee. Let’s hope none of the performers do that and end up calling their boyfriends crying and wondering why he hasn’t answered their last five emails that they sent all before 10 AM.

The stars of the hit phenomenon known as “Heroes” are currently traveling around the world to promote both the release of Season One on DVD, as well as the upcoming premiere of the new season this fall. I have to admit that I’m behind on my “Heroes” watching and in addition to having had heard that it’s a really good show, I know that there are a lot of pop culture references I’m totally missing because of my ignorance. Also take a look at these guys. They look awesome in their classic, 50s-looking ensembles. For a second, I thought I was looking at the cast of “Mad Men”. But what kills me the most is how Hayden Panettiere is just going straight from the phase of “cute kid” into “bombshell.” Are kids not having awkward phases anymore, and why didn’t I know about this, oh, ten years ago?

Scary went on to say that Victoria Beckham is excited for her and will be coming to one of the shows. She even wants to design the costumes! I hope Mel has been working out and is cool with wearing a postage stamp. Posh lacks perspective on real women’s bodies. Probably because she hails from a faraway planet of glamorous alien toothpicks. They WILL wear high heels bowling, and they WILL wear Galliano to the kids’ soccer game! The rest of you are just sad pigs! Spice up your life!

Now that is one tough mother. In her upcoming film, “The Kingdom,” Jennifer Garner plays a U.S. government agent who heads to the Middle East and is charged with the task of unraveling the details behind a bombing that took place there. To get her into fighting shape, she had to undergo some pretty grueling training and worked with a sparring partner. According to Jennifer:

“He had to stay away from my boobs.”

“Because I was breastfeeding (daughter Violet),” she says. “And he did. That was the one sacred thing. He could go for my head, pull my hair, just not the boobs.”

Those sounds like good rules to have, in general. Although, I generally allow some boob contact and occasional biting, but then again, I’m kind of a kinky little thing. We’re talking about doing it, right?

It’s Britney, bitch. I like to think that she’s talking to me directly, fully aware that I’ve been waiting for some word on her comeback album for YEARS now. TMZ has two tracks that are supposedly some new Britney songs that will be on her upcoming. The first track has my attention, even though it’s clear that her voice has been so produced that she actually sounds more like Kylie than the old Britster, but then again, that’s probably a good thing. The second track’s a bit on the Minnie Mouse side, but I’ll take what I can get at this point.
