As yet another season of American Idol winds down, there are only two potential winners remaining.  And while it may appear that Sparks is the safe bet for winner, don’t forget Lewis’ propensity for pulling a rabbit out of his hat at the last minute.  This one’s gonna be close, folks. 

Jordin Sparks, 17, is used to celebrity, being that her father is an ex-NFL football star.  Her voice is hauntingly good, and almost begs a spot on a Disney Channel series.  The Arizona native will be tough competition for her opponent.

Now, Blake Lewis sweats charisma.  I mean, this guy is fun to watch and endears himself to the millions of viewers with a boy-like charm that few can convey with Lewis’ authenticity.  His risk-taking ways may just prove to give him the advantage in the homestretch.  “I don’t think I’ve really ever listened to the judges I think on this show. I kinda nod my head and smile and say ‘thank you.’”

And everyone has their own opinion about who will win.  According to Rolling Stone editor Joe Levy, it’s Sparks for sure.  “For the teen girls, she’s one of them. For the moms, she’s everything they want their daughter or son to grow up to be.”

Kelly Clarkson, the original American Idol, is also pulling for Sparks, while Rosie O’Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck of “The View” are placing bets on Lewis.

The only way to help out your favorite is to vote and watch to see who comes out on top.  Hey, at least it can’t be Sanjaya, right?
