Recent concert attendees at a performance of pop star, Beyonce Knowles, ended up in the hospital when they got the brunt of a pyrotechnical snafu in their front row seats during a show over the weekend. Minor injuries were reported by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for the two concertgoers, however, Beyonce still took it upon herself to surprise them at the hospital with an impromptu visit in the emergency room at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

The hospital’s head nurse told the paper, “[Beyonce] was just very concerned about the people injured in the audience…I just thought it was a great thing for someone of her stature to do.”

Beyonce’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, tells Usmagazine.com, “The story is true. Beyonce went to the hospital. They [audience members] were in very good condition last night.”

Now, that seems mighty human of B. But I must take issue with her because just the other day, I was dancing to “Crazy in Love” in my apartment and stubbed my toe something fierce. As much as I wailed with all of the strength of my nearly thirty-year-old being, she never answered my cries of, “Why God? Why me?” I just…don’t understand.
