Hopefully This Isn’t The Single

(Flynet)
In addition to the new single “Gimme More” supposedly being released next week, other songs of Britney’s are finding their way into the on-line leak rodeo. A new ballad called “Baby Boy” has been floating around. Ugh. Ballads are terrible. Unless they have really soul-piercing violin and piano and make me want to faceplanet on the third rail, I’m all set. “Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman” anyone? Stop it.
Britney really bares her soul in the track, telling how her “baby boy” deserted her — a clear reference to ex-husband Kevin Federline.
The song has a haunting music-box chime in the background, with a flavour of George Gershwin’s jazz classic Summertime.
Cuz’, I’m sure Gershwin was her source. “Gershwin? Iz that the guy who sold me that unicorn-shaped waterbed?” And K-Fed didn’t desert her! He could be found very easily at that point, in Vegas and under the stripper and beside the three foot bong. I’m gonna predict that this song isn’t going to do it for me. I want “Toxic”-type shit! And a lot of costumes! Supervised by a stylist and with no dog feces on them!
