Britney Spears reportedly asked this question of her dancers, according to Criscilla Crossland, who happens to be one of them. And despite the fact that Crossland has said of Britney's short cut, "She looks so good she should model," nobody's picked up the clippers to mimic her look of a recently enlisted Army grunt. Now, three months after her infamous buzz, the pop star is sporting two inches of hair. This hair growth concerns me, as it threatens to remove her need for her cheap wigs, which is bad for gossip business. Luckily, she still seems to be dressing and doing her make-up sans stylist, so at least there's that. Crossland also chatted about Britney's recent performances.

"It was just to create a buzz, and it worked," said Crossland, who has spent most of the past 10 months as a dancer on tours with Tyrese and rapper Snoop Dogg.

Crossland said Spears has been rehearsing two of her songs from her upcoming album. "They're amazing," the dancer said.

Well, I'm happy to hear that Britney's doing well, as long as she doesn't suddenly start dressing well. I mean, she doesn't need to be running around, smacking people with umbrellas, but the dressing like a beach rodeo clown thing needs to stay.
