This is certainly the time of year for movies; even third installments of film franchises.  While Spiderman 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End are occupying their fair share of the spotlight, Shrek The Third is pulling it’s weight, too.  Cameron Diaz has been doing publicity for the new film, and she recently visited Taiwan.

Diaz’s character, Fiona, is a modern version of the classic fairy tale princess.  Fiona understands that “if you want something to happen, you have to go out and do it yourself,” said Diaz.  That independent attitude is helpful for Diaz, an actress who has to stand up for herself.

Cameron’s former boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, is the voice of the future King Arthur in the film..She described Timberlake’s performance as “hilarious…I think he’s great in the film,” the Charlie’s Angels actress said. “He’s so gifted.”

And don’t feel bad for Cameron.  Ever since her breakup with Timberlake, she’s been exploring life for herself.  And that exploring has led to a new man, magician Criss Angel.

Angel and Diaz were romantically linked earlier this month when they were spotted partying and dining together in Las Vegas. Witnesses in the “city that never sleeps” claimed that they had been kissing, but both Diaz and Angel have refused to clarify the nature of their relationship. “Cam is an amazing person. I’m so honored to be able to call her my friend.”
