It’s not what you think. David’s not heading back to England to play soccer, the soccer stud has learned that his father is ill in hospital. The LA Galaxy soccer star and his bodyguard rushed through the international terminal and straight past security to the gate to board the plane home.

Oh, I’m just kidding. I have no idea why he looks like David Beckham’s suddenly decided to sprint to his car with his shopping-spree purchases in hand, but if he is avoiding the paparazzi, it would make sense, since I get the feeling that Posh is the one of the two who favors the limelight and she doesn’t appear to be with him. Recently, Gisele Bundchen took a little jab at the high-profile couple, for their media-friendly escapades. When the Victoria’s Secret model was informed that she and Tom Brady were the American version of Posh and Becks, she reacted by saying:
“Nooo! That is crazy! I don’t know who said that. My job is my job and my private life is my private life. They have nothing to do with each other.”
“My job is public, and it’s important to have something for yourself. If you don’t, you go crazy.”
I guess if you’re a retired Spice Girl, your “job” is basically to make your private life public, right? Isn’t that written up somewhere in the description? Also, I believe there’s something about “girl power,” which I’m thinking might have something to do with coming up with solutions for the energy crisis.

Well, I guess he does do some soccer-playing in his free time, but seriously, guys, Beckham’s place is on a billboard. Here he looks like he is giving serious “tiger eyes” that would make Tyra Banks herself proud for the new ad campaign for the Motorola RAZR2 phone. The footballing icon shows that even with an injury here and there, he’s still ready, willing and able to pose for the camera. And as much as he enjoys his place in front of the photographer’s lens, it appears that those of us hoping to see him on the small screen with a guest appearance on “Desperate Housewives” shouldn’t hold our breath. According to Extra, Eva Longoria said that Victoria Beckham’s reaction to the rumor said it all.
“She was laughing. David had a good laugh out of it. They’re not coming on the show.”
So sad. Actually, it’s probably for the best. It’s much cuter when it isn’t speaking.

David Beckham doesn’t seem too concerned about the fact that his season with the L.A. Galaxy appears to be over due to ANOTHER injury. It’s been pointed out that I don’t know shit about soccer and only an ignoramus like me would be pissed off that this bitch just got a boatload of paper and played 1 1/2 games. Yes, I’m a layperson and a vapid troll loudmouth but if I just spent that much money on something - it had better deliver. It was like a gazillion dollars! You woulda thought he came down off the cross to kick the ball around! Bend it like you’re fragile! Anyway, he says that he and Posh want more little future models.
On the possibility of more Beckhams:
At some point…When we first met, we never even spoke about how many kids we wanted. It was just lucky that we both actually wanted around the same number. We both want four or five kids…we’re very family oriented.

Becks injured himself yet again the other day, making fans wonder what in the hell all that money was for. People here in Boston were already grumbling because you had to buy tickets to see another four games to see him play against the New England Revolution. And he sat out! Now those people are stuck watching soccer three more times! Who wants to watch soccer without the possibility of a Posh sighting? I’d rather listen to Zac Efron talk about the drudgery of filming “High School Musical 2″.
He limped out of the first half of Galaxy’s Superliga final clash with Mexican outfit Pachuca nursing a knee injury, which may keep him out for four to six weeks, meaning he will miss England’s vital European championship qualifiers.
His premature departure from the match comes less than a fortnight after he managed his first league start for Galaxy. A long-standing ankle injury kept him from playing a full 90 minutes for his first appearances for the club - and any hopes that the problem was fully behind him evaporated in recent days when he started feeling the effects of the injury again.
Jesus, get Granpa Becks a cane! He’s going to fall down after bingo soon and break a hip. Who knew this world-class athlete was so injury prone? Why not just stick Elizabeth Taylor out there?

Over the weekend, David Beckham greeted more than 66,000 eager soccer fans at Giants stadium in a game against the New York Red Bulls. Beckham required a police escort to accompany his black Cadillac Escalade through the streets of New York on his way to the stadium. Now that his ankle is finally allowing him to demonstrate the showmanship for which he has been paid a pretty penny by the L.A. Galaxy, Becks is getting the chance to give American audiences a taste of what he’s capable of.
“It’s just really great to see games like that, it’s so good for the league,” said FC Dallas assistant coach Oscar Pareja, watching from Houston, where his side plays Sunday. “A lot of goals. A lot of emotion. I think it was one of those games that a lot of people enjoy.”
I’ll be honest. I really couldn’t give a crap whether David Beckham plays soccer, Jai-Alai or professional Scrabble tournaments. As long as that man continues to look the way he does with his shirt off, I say, give him more money to take care of those dainty little abs of his.

David Beckham finally began earning his money last night. He took the field for about 20 minutes last night during the L.A. Galaxy’s game against DC United at RFK Stadium in DC. He’s not just a pretty face, you know. They still lost.
Beckham failed to lift Galaxy on the pitch as they lost 1-0 and then admitted that his ankle is still causing him a lot of discomfort and, worringly, that he expects to have a “reaction” to playing in Washington.
He said: “There was tenderness [in the ankle] and I’m sure there will be for a while because it’s not an injury that just clears up and gets perfect right away.
Despite the injury, it looks like the Galaxy is getting their money’s worth. The stadium was at a capacity 46,686. And when does soccer ever sell out in this burg? They might have to start adding additions to stadiums if he plays with his shirt off. Look after that ankle, Davey, and don’t let Cruise and his gay Scientology magic anywhere near it.
