Karen Millen Goes Online

Karen Millen has always set its prices slightly higher than those of regular high street stores, however I share the opinion that they know how to provide high quality, classic looking clothing that you can guarantee will last you for as long as you need it. From these reasons alone it is clear why they […]

Fashion Week, Bagdley Mischka COUTURE IN THE CITY (read full article) As usual, Bagdley Mischka didn’t let me down during fashion week. Ladylike and elegant, the 2008 Spring runway collection was one part movie star fabulous and one part retro-chic. Fashion Rocks

Lopez 090707 01

“Fashion Rocks” took place last night. A two hour telecast of the concert will air on CBS tonight.

Fergie sang with Aerosmith, Teri Hatcher shared the stage with 50 Cent to introduce Jennifer Lopez, and Jeremy Piven served as host to a crowd of style insiders. From the start, Piven wondered aloud why he was there - were possible emcees Tom Ford, Kanye West or Heidi Klum all unavailable?

Because you come cheap, slut. I’m bored. Let’s peruse these photos. Play along with me. Avril looks like she’s about to creep through the White House to kill Glenn Close in “Mars Attacks”. Ludacris looks a little gay. Cuba Gooding Jr. looks like someone’s grandpappy. Steve Tyler looks like your crazy aunt. Jessica Alba is the single most annoying prick ever. Look closely so you can see the burden of “pretty” that she carries on her back. Adam Levine in cheaper clothes would look like the lonely college student plotting to kill everyone in the dorm cafeteria. Nicole Richie should only have a child that will grow up to join the Peace Corp. and totally confound her because she is so flaunting that pregnancy as an accessory. And who’s that chick in the leopard skin? I’m going to use my detective skills and surmise that she wants attention. Everyone here looks beat. We need some new blood.

Rachel Bilson’s Still Working the Zac Posen Purse

How adorable and well put-together does Rachel Bilson look in this navy blue dress and matching Zac Posen Abbey Satchel? Answer: Very. At first I was a bit hesitant to embrace the oddly rounded handbag, but after checking out how Rachel works it I’m sold. The handbag has classic details but a totally fresh outlook […]

Venus Williams Giving Us the Opportunity to Dress Like Her

(WENN)

Venus Williams, statuesque tennis sensation, has launched her own clothing line for women with Steve & Barry’s. Entitled, EleVen, the line will offer selections on casual wear, footwear and athletic clothing for the ladies. At the launch for EleVen, Venus credited her education at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale with helping her provide helpful input during the creation of the line.

“It’s helped me understand style, color, design history, putting seams in the right place.”

I don’t know that I’d be remotely able to pull off more than half the looks that Venus sports on the court, but from the looks of the outfits these mannequins are wearing actually look doable. And let’s be honest, if I’m going to be playing tennis, it’s only going to be because I want to wear a short skirt and run around and pose, while my best gay takes pictures.
