The blondes appear to be in charge again. We had experienced a minor brunette/raven-haired takeover but now the balance has once again shifted. Hayden Panettiere and Norman Lear (Maude?) co-hosted the “Declare Yourself!” event at the Beverly Hills Post Office last night. Celebs showed up to show their support in an initiative to get 18 year olds to register to vote. And for free whore derves and maybe some champs. You know some of these sluts don’t come out unless there’s free booze and a photo op. I don’t smell philanthropy on any of these fame victims. Except for Norman Lear, but he’s from a different generation. Did Hayden even know who he was? “Who brought their Granpa? Can you stand in front of me so the paps don’t get me drinking from this bottle? Thanks, sweetie.”
Celebrating the rite of passage of turning 18-years-old, guests of all ages registered to vote and shared inspirational stories about the power of participation in democracy. The evening culminated with a live musical performance of Alice Cooper’s classic, “I’m Eighteen,” re-imagined as a rousing anthem by Chester Bennington, lead vocalist of Grammy-winning, multi-platinum rock band Linkin Park, who joined Camp Freddy members Chris Chaney, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins of Jane’s Addiction and Billy Morrison of The Cult. Afterward, guests danced the night away as actor/rapper/comedian Nick Cannon spun as special guest DJ.
“Hollywood Celebrates 18″ drew some of today’s most influential celebrities including Kristin Bell, Chester Bennington, Chris Chaney, Sasha Cohen, Nick Cannon, Lauren Conrad, Nick D’Agosto, Julianne Hough, Dave Lieberman, Seth MacFarlane, Heidi Montag, Billy Morrison, Dave Navarro, Adrian Pasdar, Stephen Perkins, Plain White T’s, Zachary Quinto, Romeo, Justin Timberlake and Rumer Willis.
Norman Lear (MAUDE!) is the founder of “Declare Yourself” by the way. Half of these freaks wouldn’t know a voting booth if they saw one. People were probably too busy debating whether Rumer Willis’ new hair color was distracting from the Frankenstein.

The Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party Makes Me Feel Old and Frumpy

I was just flipping through a photo album with a friend of mine, showing off hilarious pictures from when I was sixteen years old. And she freaked out because I looked like I was actually thirteen in the pictures. And grew up in the 70s. Mostly because teenagers these days look like perfectly-coiffed, done-up 20-something ladies. I can prove it–just take a look at these pix from the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood. The ladies look so polished and put-together, it confounds me–because I’m still working on achieving that level of sophistication in my late 20s. I do have to say that by Young Hollywood standards, these girls actually come close to looking their age–and nobody appears to be dressed like a total hoochie-mama. Hilary Duff’s rocking something awkward, but it’s OK, cause she gives food to kids. And Jamie-Lynn’s out and about, trying to bring home the bacon, since it’s clear that Britney’s bread-winning days are over.

In this here video, Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia enjoy the musical stylings of Duran Duran and since they appear to be doing the white man’s overbite and we’ve watched the whole thing in slow motion, we’re totally up for running with the idea that these two could possibly be heating things up. Now, maybe Milo was just whispering something into the newly-legal cheerleader, or perhaps he was delivering a kiss onto the neck of his new lady-love. Who knows? In any case, they’d be a really hot couple, so I would allow this relationship to continue unopposed. Mostly because I want them to get married, so that Hayden might possibly hyphenate her name to become Hayden Panettiere-Ventimiglia and the likelihood that I will misspell her name will double.

Did Ellen Pompeo get her ass beat in the limo? Dude, what’s with that mop? Er, anyway, so when you make it big in Hollywood, you don’t have to pay for things anymore. And people want you to wear or use their swag, so it can associated with a celeb name. So they either send you stuff, or you can show up at one of these gifting suites and walk away with a mintload of items. Unless you’re like Janice Dickinson and shoving shit in your shoulder bag so you can pawn it and pay the rent. Here’s what these gifting suites are like. Try not to hate them.
The hills of Beverly Hills were crawling with celebrities who made their way to the Kari Feinstein Pre-Emmy Style Lounge at a gorgeous private residence fit for a star. With an infinity pool and cocktails a plenty, free goodies were all around, just ripe for the picking.
Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series nominee Jeremy Piven (Entourage) picked up Silpada Designs’ men’s cufflinks and stainless steel and rubber link men’s bracelet.

The young actress and star of the hit series “Heroes” will be lending her face to the famous, “Got Milk?” print ad campaign. Hayden recently turned eighteen years old and will be photographed by famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz for the ad series. Are people still not drinking their milk like they should? I don’t understand, don’t they know it’s good for them? Oh wait, maybe milk’s a carb. I can’t ever keep track of that stuff.
