Hilary Duff turned 20 today, and her boobies got a new lease on life with whatever over the shoulder boulder holder she’s employing nowdays. KAPOW! Here she is hosting the City of Hope’s 2007 Spirit of Life dinner last night at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Who else do we have here? Billy Ray Cyrus celebrating the fact that his daughter hasn’t been slammed with child. Several freaks from “High School Musical”. And Raven Symone looking like she just came from teaching kids about the power of the letter “B” on Sesame Street. So basically no one showed up for Hilary’s birthday party. I seriously think those garish veneers are keeping people away.

The “Duff Boyfriend Watch” continues. Yeah, we know, it’s not quite as scintillating as “Britney Nervous Breakdown Part Deux, the Crazy Continues,” but still. We don’t want the other celebs to feel neglected. Hilary Duff recently copped to going on a couple of dates with Canadian hockey star, Mike Comrie, but claims that they’re not “boyfriend and girlfriend.” Comrie has taken up residence in Los Angeles, and the two have met up for “dinner a couple of times.” When asked whether or not she was expecting Comrie to be in attendance at her upcoming performance in Edmonton, she replied coyly:

“I’m not sure,” she laughs. “Maybe you’ll see him there, maybe you won’t.”

Meanwhile, Hilary’s sister, Haylie, is still not dating Brody Jenner…at least that’s what she said. Hey-OOO! Sorry, but for real, she claims that the two are just best friends. According to E!’s Hollywood Party Girl:

At last week’s Tweety boutique opening, Haylie told me she was single and that she and Brody were only buds. A week prior at a Hills barbeque, Brody insisted he and Haylie were just friends, “best friends” to be exact. Yet, a week before that in Malibu, a source very close to Brody said he was dating Haylie.

Come on, Haylie. The only thing more potentially embarrassing than having to cop to the fact that you’re boinking some guy who strikes me as being something of a potentially useless douche is pretending that you’re not in it for the sex, but that you actually bother TALKING TO HIM.

Hilary Duff’s got a new dude. He’s a professional hockey player who comes from a wealthy family. Why can’t I meet tail like this? He’s hot, too. Damn them! Hockey players are hot. They need tighter uniforms, but that would probably interfere with the whole protection from pucks and sticks whizzing at their groins at high speeds thing.

Hilary and fresh boy toy Mike Comrie were spotted having a romantic dinner last night at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica. Try the veal cutlet! Comrie is the center for the New York Islanders hockey team, but his “net worth” doesn’t stop there; the Canadian pucker comes with quite a wad of cash — as heir to the Brick Warehouse fortune.

These two crazy kids met while jet skiing in Idaho. Only rich bitches have stories like that. Most of us met at a bar and went home and banged. Or met in a Starbucks while some snotty barista attempted to sweep around them. Or answered an ad for “Short White Fat Male Seeks Hot Guy For Pirate Roleplay”. What? Arrrrrr, matey!

Last Friday night, I attended Popstarz at The Factory Nightclub in West Hollywood to see Hilary Duff. I admit it, I was kind of a “Lizzie McGuire” fan back in the day, so I was curious to see what she could do as a singer. Well, my low expectations were satisfactorily met. She’s not the best singer or dancer, but I expected a little more than the lip-synching and off-beat pelvic thrusts she gave us, and that’s just barely what I got. And to make matters even worse, the “queen of all media” (I won’t mention his name, but it rhymes with Paris Hilton) was there to introduce Hilary to the crowd.

At least it wasn’t a total bust. She only sang two songs, thanked the crowd and then was gone just as long as the “concert.” The one great thing about the night, was my bartender buddy, Bernie, hooking me and my friends up with some powerful cocktails. It made jumping around dancing like 14-year-old girls at a slumber party that much more fun.

OK, that was a gross title, but I’m a disgusting individual. After being photographed many times hanging out with Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado, we think we’ve finally figured out who’s hooking up with whom. TMZ spotted the two couples heading out the back door of Los Angeles club, Hyde, last night. Hilary was seen walking hand-in-hand with Frankie, while Haylie and Brody sauntered to their SUV together. While Hilary and Frankie tried to cover themselves from waiting photographers with a black t-shirt over their faces, Haylie and Brody didn’t mind quite as much.

I vaguely know that Brody Jenner’s the son of Bruce Jenner and that he does some reality TV stuff, and apparently Frankie Delgado was on MTV’s reality show, “24/7.” He had the following description from The Futon Critic:

In less than two years in town, Tijuana native Frankie Delgado has taken the Hollywood party circuit by storm. Now a big name club promoter, Frankie has joined forces with Greg Carney to take his parties to the next level. Known to roll around town with the ladies, especially when its time to pack a club, Frankie always lets his crew dip into his star-studded Rolodex.

Let’s just hope Hilary knows what she’s getting into. Listen to me, I don’t even know the guy and I’m already giving him shit. I sound like my dad.

Little Hilary is growing up fast, and seems to be taking the very public relationship of her ex-boyfriend, Joel Madden, and Nicole Richie in stride. However, she does admit that she was confused by his behavior after their break-up.

“All of the going out he did after we broke up sort of shocked me,” Duff told Seventeen magazine. “Like, that’s just so out of character for him, and when we were together, he hated stuff like that, so I felt like I didn’t really know him as well as I thought I did.”

However, it looks like Hilary’s been up to some partying of her own, hitting the town with her sister, Haylie, and Brody Jenner. But don’t be fooled, Hilary says. Her hopes and dreams are still squeaky-clean.

“I still want the cookie-cutter American dream,” Duff insisted, “to get married, have kids, and have a house with a picket fence. I still believe that marriage can work.”

I so rarely give young starlets the benefit of the doubt, but Hilary seems like a nice girl with her head on straight, so if she’s partying a little bit here and there, more power to her. I saw her stuffing backpacks with food at an elementary school for goodness’ sake! She’s a good girl, who just needs a little more meat on her bones.

Possibly - they have been hanging out lately. Or maybe she was trying to impress one of the other young men who attended her Fourth of July party at a beach house in Malibu. Duff did look to be having a good time, although I don’t think Courteney Cox and David Arquette appreciated the attention (their beach house is right next door), because along with the Duff sisters throwing a party, Lindsay Lohan threw a beach party as well (those photos to come shortly).
