If Mary-Kate Olsen always looks so darn glum, you can blame the paparazzi. The Olsen twin dished to Entertainment Weekly that she only feels it’s appropriate that she stand and pose for events to promote her various entertainment projects, including red-carpet events. Other than that, the 21-year-old actress has no interest in having her picture taken.

“I would love to be able to swim in the ocean in Malibu,” she says. “But that is asking for a bikini shot. That’s inviting something that I don’t want to happen. I don’t need to be on a ‘Who’s Skinny, Who’s Fat, Who’s Looking Healthy, Who’s Not Eating?’ list.”

Poor MK. I feel bad for her…almost bad enough to decide to quit doing what I do for a living. Until I remember that the alternative is for me to get a REAL job and I realize that I don’t feel that bad.

The slightly smaller half of the Olsen twins recently enjoyed some hard-core partying, which ended in her falling over a table. Mary-Kate Olsen was spotted at the New York hot spot, Teddy’s, on Saturday night and onlookers were stunned by the 21-year-old actress’ wild behavior. A witness dished to X17Online:

“Mary-Kate Olsen was wearing a see-through green dress. She was completely wasted, she was humping and grinding against a column with another girl. Then she was flailing all over the dance floor.

“Later, Mary-Kate made out with various questionable men while friends took pictures. She then fell over onto a table and proceeded to break every glass on the table before toppling over onto everyone sitting behind her. It was shocking.”

I’ll tell you what’s shocking, is that she has enough body mass to even displace a table, much less a bunch of glasses. I have a feeling she’d have to get a running start to knock over a house of cards.

God forbid Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen (what’s up with the all black clothing in the heat of summer?) be photographed. Especially while arriving at a restaurant. Because food is bad. Or maybe they just don’t want to be photographed because they’re vampires, and are allergic to the light from flashbulbs. Strike that theory, these photos were taken during the day. I guess they’re just plain weird.

Bless her heart. Mary-Kate Olsen isn’t even of legal drinking age, but she’s already starting to look weathered, according to the staff on “Weeds.” The young actress is guest-starring on an episode of the Showtime series and to everyone’s surprise, girlfriend is looking kinda like she’s been rode hard and put down wet one time too many.

Sources on the set of Showtime’s “Weeds” tell TMZ that the newly-joined cast member is needing to spend a little extra time in the makeup chair — to cover up her dark circles and other assorted blemishes! A well-placed source tells TMZ that several crew members were overheard commenting on how surprisingly old she looks in person.

The reason suggested for her aged appearance is that she seems to subsist solely on a steady diet of coffee and Marlboro Reds. Lord have mercy, in addition to dressing like a homeless man, this girl also likes eating (or not eating) like one as well. Marlboro Reds? Seriously? That’s intense. You know it can’t be smelling good up in that mouth of hers. Sweetheart, drink some water, eat and apple and have some green-tea. Trust me, your face will thank me.

The somewhat skinnier and very often slightly more heavily layered Olsen twin, Mary-Kate, will be gracing the small screen for the first time in five years. And she’ll be doing it without her twin sister. The “Full House” star is set to appear on Showtime’s comedy series, “Weeds,” which is premiering its third season August 13th. Her character will act as the love interest for the son of Mary-Louise Parker’s character, Nancy Botwin, Olsen signed on to appear in 10 out of 15 of the third season’s episodes.

“‘Weeds’ isn’t your 8 o’clock family fare,” series creator and executive producer Jenji Kohan said. “It’s an adult show with adult subject matter, and we’re confident Mary-Kate is right for the role.”

Well, good for her. It’s refreshing to hear that she’s not going to the tiresome and typical route of the child actress attempting to blossom into more “mature” roles, by taking on the obligatory role of young prostitute. Yay! I’m so encouraging.
