I’m not one for complicated outfits, but I think that Rachel Bilson manages to pull this look off, with all of the layers and whatnot. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that I WANT HER PURSE. That thing looks awesome. It’s my favorite–chocolate brown–and looks like my laptop would fit in it. Sigh. I guess I’m just going to have to go and steal it. OK, major digressions aside, Rachel is set to guest star on that new NBC series, “Chuck,” as the third point of a love triangle involving the main character, Chuck, and the CIA operative sent to protect him. Basically, he’ll be stuck between a brunette, a blonde and a hard place. For the life of me, I can’t really get too excited about it, even though NBC is ramming this thing down our throats with promos every two minutes. But I will get excited about this purse.

Oh yeah–I think it’s leather. Yowzah.

These two are dating, right? Or is he her secretly gay compadre? Because I can’t think of any other reasons for the two of them to be out and about doing some serious domestic shopping. I feel like I’m so behind on what they’ve been up to. My problem children, Lindsay, Britney, Paris and Rosie, have all been taking up Mama’s time lately, so that I haven’t had a chance to really keep an eye on Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson.

In any case, the two of them were spotted shopping for home furnishings in Toronto on Tuesday at a store called Fluid Living, with which I’m not familiar, but I’m just guessing is expensive. And it might have something to do with Christensen’s desire to get his new domicile up to speed, according to an interview with enRoute magazine.

“I recently acquired a farm north of Toronto, and I just bought a big excavator and a dump truck and a Bobcat — c o n s t r u ction toys. I plan to start building soon. I can’t wait to go out there and move dirt and get my hands dirty.”

I would think that working with Sienna Miller on “Factory Girl” would have made his hands plenty dirty. Get it? Cause she’s a filthy, filthy girl.
