Watching Cars Explode in Baghdad Now Free

Looks like the Wall Street Journal is back to being just about the only fee-wall on the block. Even Salon isn’t charging readers for access these days. It’s like content wants to be free or something. And Time Warner’s CNN is getting the memo, unleashing its VIDEO FROM EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME OMG!! MUTIPLE SCREENS, SO MUCH WOLF BLITZER service, properly known as Pipeline, to the masses.
No more $25 annual fees to stream four feeds of video content you didn’t know you needed; as of July 1, CNN’s new “Internet offerings” will be revamped, which means free access to watch CNN’s videos, like today’s “Mom puts suspended son on walk of shame.”
