Dan Rather Sues Everybody

OK, maybe not everybody, but he has targeted CBS, three of his past bosses, as well as what used to be the parent company of the network, Viacom. Dan is looking to get $50 million in punitive damages and $20 million in compensatory damages, which comes to a total of a hell of a whole lot of damages. According to the Los Angeles Times:
Rather’s complaint stems from “CBS’ intentional mishandling” of the aftermath of a discredited story about President George W. Bush’s time in the Texas Air National Guard.
Go on, Dan, with your accuracy-loving self. However, I must apologize for this freak occurrence in which some actual news managed to sneak through our highly sophisticated filtering system. I apologize and assure you it will not happen again. As you were.
