Lawyers Love Litigating Lohans

Once again a Lohan is being sued, but this time, it’s Dina who’s getting slapped with a suit. Las Vegas entrepreneur, Antonio Almeido, alleges that he lent Dina $400,000 about four years ago and is saying that she has yet to pay him back. Almeido is crying fraud, stating that the money was intended to help get Lindsay’s recording career on track, including financing for songs recorded with Emilio Estefan, one of the creative forces behind the Miami Sound Machine. The suit alleges that a deal with Casablanca Records was signed by Lindsay in the midst of her sessions and she bolted, leaving Almeido in the lurch. From Page Six, comes the following quote from A. Raymond Hamrick, Alemida’s lawyer:
“My clients were out their money,” Hamrick said. Dina’s lawyer, David Chesnoff told The Post’s Marianne Garvey: “You mean the funds he claimed he lent her?”
I have a feeling that there will be a lot of going over receipts, with the following response, “Now, Ms. Lohan, there’s seem to an awful lot charges to ‘Mystic Tan’ and this Escobar fellow. Any idea what those were for?”
