Elizabeth Hurley Dazzles At Asian Achievement Awards

Elizabeth Hurley is radiant.  Despite losing two major modeling contracts this year, she is still holding her head high and moving forward.  Her marriage to Indian Businessman Arun Nayar has injected some traditional Indian culture into her wardrobe, as evidenced at the Asian Women of Achievement awards.

She attended the awards ceremony with her husband and Miss Great Britain, Preeti Desai.  But she was not alone in donning the traditional attire.  The prime minister’s wife, Cherie Booth QC, wore a sheer embroidered ensemble, while UK anchorwomen Katie Derham and Fiona Bruce made a splash in colorful Indian outfits.

Elizabeth, meanwhile, presented the Entrepreneur of the Year gong at the event, which celebrates talented, high-achieving Asian women in Britain.  It was an important event for the benefit and advancement of Asian women in the UK.

In keeping one hand over her stomach as she posed for pictures, the mother of one sparked speculation that she could be expecting her first child with Arun. Even if she’s not preggers, she hopes to be in the near future. “We’d love to add to our family, and (her son) Damian would love some siblings,” she told UK’s HELLO! magazine at her English wedding. Added Arun: “Of course we would love to have a baby. Elizabeth wants twin boys!”

Enjoy the pictures of Elizabeth and Arun at the Asian Women of Achievement awards on Wednesday (May 23).
