Fashion Fix: Milk Bomb- Couture Kid Wear

Milk Bomb sounds exactly like what every parent goes through when having children. Steven O'Neil is the creator of Milkbomb.com. His clever slogans are loud and proud on t-shirts and onsies for children. Tops that bear "Live Free or Cry" and "Congratulations! You Get to Sit Near Me" have been featured in "Parents" Magazine.
You can also see his work on celebrity children. Marcia Cross favored "Our Little Tax Write-Off," which has been feather in "OK!" mag. His "style and attitude" motifs are fresh, trendy and welcomed by the "cool" parents. Steven was gracious enough to answer a few questions in between changing diapers and cranking out creative kidwear.
Cara Harrington: How did MilkBomb get its start? Steve O'Neil: The inspiration came from our boy, Sam, who was born in 2005 on Father's Day, no less. I've been making small runs of adult-sized shirts off and on for a decade and I suddenly thought it would be fun to kick out some shirts for Sam. Soon afterwards, my friends in our little Brooklyn, NY, neighborhood started asking if I could make some for their kids and it just sorta grew from there. We've since moved to San Francisco where I launched www.milkbomb.com last October. The response since then has been awesome.Cara: A few celebs are fans of your baby-wear. What children of the stars are wearing Milkbomb?
Steve: So far my designs have found their way into the homes of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Amanda Peet, Marcia Cross, and Gwen Stefani. I have to admit, that whole aspect of this project has been super exciting.
