When I think of Lou Bluhm, a brilliant player who died in 1990 at age 50, I recall a deal in which his opponents had a long, artificial auction to 3NT. No opening lead was clearly indicated, and after some thought, Lou led the ten of clubs from 10-5 doubleton.
