Glenn Close on New FX Series “Damages”
One of the arguably most interesting and intense female actresses in both film and on television, Glenn Close is starring in a new series on FX entitled “Damages.” According to the site for the show:
DAMAGES is a legal thriller set in the world of New York City high-stakes litigation. The series, which provides a view into the true nature of power and success, follows the turbulent lives of Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) the nation’s most revered and reviled high-stakes litigator and her bright, ambitious protégé Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) as they become embroiled in a class action lawsuit targeting the allegedly corrupt Arthur Frobisher (Ted Danson), one of the country’s wealthiest CEOs.
After the success of her Emmy-nominated performance on “The Shield,” it’s no surprise that FX has decided to put Glenn’s talents to use in their upcoming legal drama. Because we are slowly, but surely getting ourselves some fancy-schmancy, grown-up connections here at ASL, we’re going to be getting hooked up with a first look at the show very soon and I’ll be providing a review for your guys to check out before the show hits the air July 24th. Also be sure to check out the show’s site for video trailers, more information about the cast and much, much more.
More photos from “Damages” are after the jump.
