Isaiah Washington Speaks

(Flynet)
His stint in “anger” rehab (I have no idea what it’s really called) sounds like it might have helped him to achieve the Zen-like attitude that he’s using to deal with his release from “Grey’s Anatomy.” When Isaiah Washington sat down to chat with Entertainment Weekly about his reaction to the sudden announcement that he would no longer be returning to the hit ABC show, he expressed his belief that he done everything asked of him to rectify his mistakes and spoke very highly of the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes. When asked if he’d been contacted by his castmates, Washington responded:
I don’t expect to hear from my castmates. I did talk to Chandra Wilson and I got a text message from Kate Walsh. Everyone’s doing their own thing. People are still trying to enjoy their summer before they get back to the grind.
To be fair, this response is just an excerpt, but even in its entirety, it sounds like more than anything, any goodbyes would just be extended out of professional courtesy. Well, I guess Isaiah can at least be proud of the fact that once he heard the news, he didn’t have to be dragged away in handcuffs, while crying and screaming, “Mom! Mom! Mom!”
