I Think I Might Do Well to Stay out of the Tower Bar

Not that I’m a frequent celebrity-spotter at the Sunset Tower Hotel’s Tower Bar, but now I at least know that my kind is not exactly welcome there. Page Six reports that a freelance reporter got herself tossed out of the joint, when she was seen text messaging on her phone that she had spotted Jennifer Aniston in the establishment with her model boyfriend, Paul Colford.

“Security was called and she was told to never come back,” our insider said.”She made a huge stink and started screaming.” As she was being tossed, “The entire bar - including [Aniston], Bernie Brillstein, Kate Hudson and [former Paramount head] Donald Deline - started applauding, and some people even stood up.”

I could understand getting annoyed if someone is around, taking your picture constantly, yelling your name over and over and over again. But if you’re making millions of dollars to be in stupid movies and do interviews on television and talk about your struggles to make it as an actor and blah, blah, blah, then maybe you should expect to run into some entertainment journalists now and again. Not only that, but if you want privacy, DON’T LIVE IN LOS ANGELES. Seriously, celebrities should be required to sign a waiver once they step inside Los Angeles county, that they agree that they’re entering the entertainment capital of the world.
