It’s no surprise that with all the Hollywood motherhood going around, there is a new show in the works that deals with the role of “mother”.  Jennifer Garner and Lauren Sanchez-Whitesell (host of So You Think You Can Dance) are currently pitching a series to networks that they describe as “The View” for mothers.

Garner reportedly plans to talk about her marriage to Ben Affleck and their 17-month-old daughter Violet, and will appear on the show regularly.  The actress and her “Dance” host friend commented “We’re putting together a show for moms, by moms.”

"We’re pitching it next week to a network. I call Jennifer the Barbara Walters of the show. She will come on periodically. We haven’t quite settled exactly how often, but she’s the executive producer.”

Advice from the Alias star?  Awesome!  “We’ll talk about how to get your kids to sleep, or how do you choose the right school, or how to keep your marriage together after having kids.”

The show is definitely still in its infant stage.  “We don’t have a name for the show yet. It’s still Jen Garner Untitled Project, but I think next week we’ll have more of an idea of where the show’s going,” said Garner.
