I’m pretty sure it’s completely apparent that I like Jennifer Garner for no reason in particular. Maybe it’s because she’s all fit and trim, but not because she’s either starving herself or keeping her nose-holes plugged full of powdery substances, but because she probably does triathalons to be in that shape, and I can respect that. At the moment, she’s looking all glam and stuff for the promotion of her film, “The Kingdom,” but finds that her heart never strays far from her home in Charleston.

“I would much rather wake up and go to Taylor Books tomorrow and sit, drink coffee and read the newspaper rather than go to Paris,” Garner said in a quick telephone interview that took place while she was riding to the airport.

“It’s just the overall feel of it there. The green’s there, the people walking down the street. Anyone that doesn’t live there or isn’t from there just can’t understand it.”

Jennifer, if you need a stunt double to do your international promotions for your film for you, I’ll happily oblige. You know where to reach me. I’ll have my Jennifer Garner costume pressed and ready, just in case.
