It would seem that at a roast, especially one for such a figure as “Flavor of Love” star Flavor Flav would have a pretty much “anything goes” policy, in terms of jokes. However, since the roast is televised, there’s only so much censors can allow to be shown on television, as is evidenced by the censorship of Jimmy Kimmel’s jab at Flav’s parenting skills. Kimmel poked at Flavor, telling the rapper “Chris Benoit is a better father than you.”

A TMZ staffer who was at the roast (airing August 12 on Comedy Central) just happened to be sitting next to two censors for the network. When Kimmel made the crack, the censors looked at each other and laughed while shaking their heads “no.” One immediately put down “Chris Benoit” on a list of jokes to cut.

Meanwhile, ASL made it to the red-carpet for the event, getting loads of pictures of the attendees of the event, including a recently rehabbed Brigitte Nielsen, terrifyingly muscular and quite orange Carrot Top, Ice-T and Coco, Snoop Dogg, scads of scantily-clad “Flavor of Love” contestants, Ron Jeremy and many more of your favorite trash-tastic reality stars and sharp-tongued roasters.
