Guys can be dumb and most of them will actually admit it.  For instance John Mayer, the current arm candy of Jessica Simpson, certainly put his foot in his mouth when he mixed up Jess for her sister Ashlee.

Jessica Simpson was furious when Mayer spotted Ashlee on a magazine cover and thought it was Jess.  He allegedly pointed to the picture of Ashlee and asked, “How old is this picture of you?” Mayer may have been confused because of Jess’ recent morph from blonde to brunette.

A witness told Star magazine, “Jessica read John the riot act. He definitely touched a nerve.” She insisted that she and Ashlee look completely different. Though Jessica, 26, was once close to her 22-year-old sister, they have reportedly started to grow apart since Ashlee lost weight and dyed her hair blonde.

Jessica has been vocal recently about her body image. “I feel beautiful in my skin whether I’m five pounds heavier or five pounds lighter,” she was quoted as saying.  In Mayer’s defense, they ARE sisters, after all!
