Kate Hudson kept busy during her Memorial Day weekend, despite the absence of her companion - Hollywood actor Owen Wilson.

The fun-loving ‘Almost Famous’ actress got ready for the holiday weekend with a workout on Friday with a few of her gal pals.

After a few days of R & R and shopping, Hudson “kicked up her heels at the Gramercy Park Hotel’s Rose Bar” on Monday night. According to the NY Post, “The blonde showed up for a Velvet Revolver concert, hosted by Nur Khan and One Music, without her current boyfriend, Owen Wilson.”

Page Six insiders added, “Hudson spent the evening chatting with one older guy, and was lifting up her leg to show off her black pumps.”

Her night didn’t end there - as she then headed over to the Pink Elephant, where she “spent the rest of the night dancing on banquettes.”

It’s good to see Kate back out on the town and having fun - especially with such a grueling upcoming schedule. She has a whole slate of movies due for release, including: Fool’s Gold, Sleight of Mind, Bride Wars, and A Dream of Red Mansions.
