One of my favorite actresses/Hollywood personalities of all time, Ms. Katherine Hepburn, is getting ready to have her 100th birthday commemorated. This chick was awesome, rocking her lipstick and pantsuits and just being the classiest bad-ass on the planet until she passed away at the age of 96, nearly four years ago. Robert Osborne, host of Turner Classic Movies, talked about Hepburn and her carefully calculated public image.

''She was a great personality _ I think she was a really good actress but a great personality,'' Osborne said. ''She became a star because of her personality and also because of her daring to be different, doing it by her own rules. I think she made up her mind she was going to be a success and forced it on all of us.''
