Lindsay Lohan’s Reformed Father’s Plea

Meandering back to her party-infused lifestyle just months after a rehab stint, Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father is now begging his daughter to cleanse herself of her clubbing lifestyle and reconcile with him.

The 20-year-old ‘Georgia Rule’ actress has not seen her dad - Michael Lohan - for more than two years following his time in the big house for fraud and drunk-driving. Michael has adamantly stated that he is now a new man having ‘found God,’ believing that his newfound wisdom could help Lindsay get back on the path to a long and healthy life and career.

Desperately wanting his daughter to avoid the same mistakes he’s made in his own life, Mr. Lohan only made it as far as speaking with Lindsay on the phone.

In a reccent interview, Michael told The Mirror, “In one of our conversations she told me, ‘Daddy, I am just like you! I am you’.”

Opening up, Papa Lohan continued, “I’m the first to admit I’ve made mistakes in the past - whether it was from acting out, abusing cocaine and alcohol or listening to the wrong people. But I hope and pray my daughter learns from my mistakes. I don’t want her to end up where I did.”

Michael seems a bit unclear on what stories about his daughter are true and which ones are a concoction of the tabloids - which is why he feels that a face-to-face with his daughter is of the utmost importance.

“Obviously I’ve heard all the rumors and comments, but I don’t know what to believe. I certainly know the path I’d like her to take. People who are close to both Lindsay and I tell me they are concerned. I would like to be there for my daughter. I want to look in her eyes and know the truth. I can help her in a lot of ways.”

Unfortunately for Michael, up to this point Lindsay seems to want no part of it.
