In reference to allegations that Lindsay Lohan was drinking before getting behind the wheel and crashing into another car back in 2005, La Lohan is claiming that she was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. She also alleges that the lawsuit filed against her by the driver of the car in question is simply hoping to “extort money from a celebrity” by falsely accusing her of drinking and driving. According to Lohan, the police report made at the scene states:

“”MS. LOHAN ‘had not been drinking.’” The officer at the scene went on to write, “I did not observe any objective signs of either alcohol or drug intoxication and determined that no further investigation regarding intoxication was warranted.”

As for her current legal woes related to her second DUI arrest, Lindsay was unable to make her “Tonight Show” appearance with Jay Leno. However, comedian Roy Scheider did his best to fill in for the rehabbing starlet, and even went as far as to appear on the show in drag. And in about two weeks, I’m guessing, he’ll start shooting his latest comedy, which involves him being a guy in drag to fill in for a movie star in rehab and then BAM, hilarity ensues.
