When Dina Lohan talked recently about the progress daughter Lindsay has made at the substance abuse treatment facility, where she’s been since this past Memorial Day weekend, she indicated that seemed pleased with Lindsay’s treatment, stating that the young actress was “doing great.”

“I talk to her every day,” Dina Lohan told PEOPLE in New York on Monday. “She’s going to do Promises’ extended care program.”

Even though Lindsay’s Vegas birthday bash has been called off, Dina also said that she does plan on bringing her family to meet up with Lindsay on her special day and according to her security guard, they won’t be spending it at the Promises treatment center.

And, Dina added, “But enough about Lindsay…let’s talk about me! I’ve just last half a pound, and seriously, tell me how I’m looking in these jeans. Just kidding! I love my daughter.” Get it? Cause I think she’s a terrible mother. You know, cause I don’t beat that joke into the ground nearly enough.
