Mel Gibson Praised for Rehab Success
Everyone makes mistakes. It’s what we do to amend our wrongs that tells of our character. For Mel Gibson, it looks like he’s bringing his A-game as he recovers from the hideously embarrassing “incident” of last year.
Gibson, who holds the Summer ’06 bad publicity award, has been on his best rehab behavior in an effort to right the wrongs he committed in his drunk driving/anti-Semitism rant. And the legal system is taking notice.
"I truly believe the rehabilitation that is being effected in this case is effective, and I don’t want anything to interrupt that,” said Superior Court Judge Lawrence Mira.
“He’s doing very well. He’s working hard,” Gibson’s publicist, Alan Nierob, told The Associated Press on Friday. “This is just an ongoing process that he’s committed to.”
The Passion-ate actor has another court date on August 23 to monitor his progress.
