Mena Suvari Runs Someone Over with Her Short-Haired Self
At least, that’s the premise of her new movie, which she spent some time at the Toronto Film Festival promoting. Look at her here, looking all bad-ass and stuff. I have to admit that she’s really owning this haircut and doing such a good job of it that I find myself considering cutting off all my hair. Until I remember that it serves the purpose of hiding my insanely lumpy head. But back to Mena, her film, “Stuck” is based on a true story, according to director, Stuart Gordon. He said that the first half of the movie was basically sticking to real life, but that the second half focuses on the possible outcome of the situation.
“It was one of those things where you’re reading it and you can’t believe what you’re reading,” he said about what attracted him to the project. “I love stuff like that. If you made this up, nobody would believe it.”
I don’t have stories like that, unfortunately. Everything I say sounds perfectly credible and therefore boring. Sigh. Except the dragon orgy I was invited to in college–that one seems to get people’s attention.
