Michael Jackson is Leaving Las Vegas
Michael Jackson had been gearing himself up for an attempted comeback when he suddenly experienced a bout of cold feet. The pop star had been in talks with Las Vegas impresario Jack Wishna, who was a helping to orchestrate Michael’s business ventures in Sin City when Michael suddenly just up and stopped returning Wishna’s phone calls.
“I had (Jackson) on the telephone when he was in Ireland and he was all excited about working in Las Vegas,” deal-maker Jack Wishna told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “It even got down to the detail of a statue of himself that he wanted out front (of the hotel). He also came up with the idea of having his own slot machines. I have a signed contract that he wanted us to put together to market his slot machines in Europe and Asia.”
A chat with Jackson’s mouthpiece substantiated the rumor that Michael has decided not to renew the lease on his 10-bedroom home in Vegas and is looking to move, based on his “concerns that security wasn’t sufficient.” I’m afraid we’re going to have to wait until Blanket and Prince are old enough to try and escape and sell their stories to the highest bidding network before we get some interesting news about Michael again. Either that, or if Mike starts hanging out more with La Toya, which I would whole-heartedly support.
