Mike Tyson’s Not Leaving Arizona Any Time Soon
When you’re in trouble with the law, you sometimes have a hard time being given permission to do certain things. Mike Tyson is learning this fact of life.
Mike Tyson does not have permission from Arizona authorities to travel to Atlantic City, N.J., and work the corner of heavyweight Sultan Ibragimov during his WBO title fight against Shannon Briggs on Saturday night.
Tyson must get approval from a judge to travel outside of Arizona while drug charges against him are pending. Maricopa County officials never approved the former heavyweight champion’s trip to the fight. However, Tyson is being allowed to attend his daughter’s high school graduation in Washington on Friday.
He was also allowed to leave Arizona the other day, because he was seen in LA where these photos were taken. So maybe it’s just a boxing thing.
