Dining Report: ATL - TWO urban licks

twourban1.jpg

TWO urban licks is unlike anything Atlanta has ever experienced, with the sky-scraping 14-foot wood pit rotisserie tower in the middle of the dining area and live blues nightly. Executive Chef/Partner Scott Serpas created a menu that consists of “Fiery American Cooking” in a high-energy environment featuring wood-fired meats, fish, barbeque and a touch of Creole.

The innovative, domestic wine program consists solely of 42 stainless steel barrels of wine, with the exception of sparkling wines and champagne, that are displayed in a 26-foot, glass and stainless steel, temperature controlled tower. The décor resembles an inner-city warehouse: a little rough, a little diverse, but softened with texture and lighting. TWO urban licks is located at 820 Ralph McGill Boulevard, east of The Carter Center.
