When Paris Hilton was released from jail and brought home to see her family, her sister, Nicky, was there at the behest of her parents. But she was none too pleased about it. An inside source revealed to the New York Daily News that Nicky’s return to the U.S. from her business trip to Greece was not her idea.

“Her parents dragged her back because they didn’t think it would be good for the family’s image if they didn’t show a united front,” says a snitch.

“She loves her sister, but she thinks the whole media circus is ridiculous.”

Nicky and her boyfriend, David Katzenberg, had been in attendance at a fashion show in Greece when she’d been beckoned by Kathy and Rick Hilton to return to the U.S. to provide a united front to the media. when Paris returned home. A spy said that Nicky was “looking really annoyed” when she showed up at her grandparents’ home at 10 p.m. on Tuesday evening. I have to say, even though that whole family annoys me, Nicky’s the only one who occasionally does or says anything I can even remotely relate to. First of all, I kind of like how she’s impatient with the B.S. of having to maintain some kind of an image. Also, she seems to be the only one in the bunch who actually has a job. I hope that Paris stays on this “I found Jesus” path and tries to “save” Nicky, who you know is going to be rolling her eyes going, “Dammit, Paris. You just threw holy water on my hair and now it’s going to frizz up. Thanks.”
