The publication that is the world-renowned authority on the worst and best beach bodies, Star magazine is saying that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden already know the sex of the bun in Nicole’s teeny-tiny Easy Bake Oven. According to the tab, the couple were seen at Bel Bambini two weeks ago purchasing thousands of dollars worth of items that indicate that the child on the way is, in fact, a boy. A source that chatted with the couple reveals:

“I asked them if they were shopping for a friend and they said, no. It was obvious they were buying for themselves. When they got to the register, Nicole whispered to Joel, ‘Wait till my dad finds out.’ She was giddy the entire time, and you could tell she was excited to be there.”

I’m still amazed that they found life in her uterus. Have I already made that joke? I don’t really care. It’s still pretty damn mind-boggling. If it is a boy, I imagine his time spent in his mother’s womb probably looks a whole lot like the episode of “Man vs. Wild” in which Bear finds himself stranded in the desert.
