With all the possibilities swirling around the jail sentence of hotel heiress Paris Hilton, here’s the most original: send her to Australia instead of jail.  Hey, the English used to do it in earlier centuries.  Why not?

The higher ups at Bondi Blonde Brewery are pitching the idea of having the House of Wax star come to their land in lieu of prison.  The marketing chiefs behind the low-carb beer have posted ads in newspapers and trade magazines in the U.S. asking police to consider their idea.

As it is right now, Hilton will be surrendering herself to police on June 5th for her 23-day sentence for violation of probation.  But Bondi Blonde boss Jack Singleton has come up with an alternative…"Please send Paris Hilton to the world’s biggest convict colony: Australia.”

The ad displays a picture of Miss Hilton posing with a bottle of their beer at the January launch party. Accompanying the picture is the statement, “Paris has already served time Down Under. We invited her here in January 2007 to choose the face of a new low-carb beer… We’d be happy (especially the blokes) to have her back and we already have a special place put aside for Ms Hilton to serve out her sentence. It’s called Bondi Beach.”

I suppose it’s worth a try.
