So the story goes that Paris Hilton had once said to a friend that she’d be interested in becoming buds with Victoria Beckham, to which Victoria reportedly said, “Over my dead body!” And now, FOX News is saying that Paris Hilton is pretty much saying that she never said that she wanted to be Victoria’s friend, no way, no how.

“The story is completely made up,” said a spokesperson for Hilton. “Paris never said such a thing.”

But it sounds like Victoria’s actually less concerned over a relationship forming between herself and the recently-jailed heiress, than one sparking between Hilton and her soccer-playing hubbie, David. Life Style Extra reports that Victoria is well aware of Hilton’s admiration of David and doesn’t think she can trust these young Hollywood starlets as far as she can throw them. And with those stick arms, I’m guessing it isn’t very far. According to their source:

“Although she trusts David 100 per cent, she will not tolerate any of the L.A. party girls making a move on him, or seeing him as fair game.

“She wants this to be clear from the start - David is a devoted family man and these women should forget about trying it on with him.”

Meanwhile, what is up with Paris covered in glitter? Why on Earth is she dressed for a gala/rave? Do those even exist and how can I get invited?
