Perhaps the spoiled heiress is actually finally owning up to her responsibilities and is taking her punishment like a grown-up. According to TMZ, Paris Hilton has been acting like a “model citizen” say the jail staff–at least she has been for the first fifteen hours of her sentence. Perhaps it’s because she’s been allowed to keep her extensions, which it had been initially reported that she would not be allowed to do. However, since they are of the “tightly wound” variation, they are considered acceptable. From TMZ:

She’s not interacting with any of the inmates, at least not yet. She’s only seeing them through glass. We’re told she’s not happy, but resigned to getting it done. She’s not teary, just very quiet.

Well, I’m not one to kick a bitch while she’s down (um, actually, we all know that’s a lie, but allow some suspension of disbelief for a moment), so I’m gonna say that I have to give her props for not pouting. I mean, she’s no Lil’ Kim, but at least she’s behaving.
