Pete Doherty plead guilty in court today to drug charges . He’s a rolling wreck, so I don’t see that he had any other choice. It’s a little obvious by now that he’s way into drugs. His keychain is a miniature crack pipe. He was real late for court, too. He’s on crackhead time.

Shortly beforehand, Ms Lachhar [the judge] had issued a warrant for his arrest. “This is a court of law,” the judge said. “He should have been here at 9.30am, and he isn’t. I am giving a warrant with no bail.”

When the hearing eventually started, a seemingly emotional Doherty wept when he was told he could face a jail sentence and struggled to give his new address, eventually doing so through his lawyer.

He pleaded guilty to charges of possessing quantities of crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis and ketamine - “quite a selection” of drugs, the judge said - and to two driving offences. He also admitted an extra charge of failing to appear in court without reasonable excuse.

He does Special K too? You know he and Kate have spent time in K-holes. He’s having a rough time because he also f-ed around on Moss, and she’s changed the locks on her apartment to keep his ass out. The struggle to remember his new address was because he originally started to say hers. Sad. I doubt this is the end for them, though. Does he work? I mean, does he sell enough records and play enough intelligible gigs to support himself as well as a drug habit? Then again, you don’t eat much when you’re on the pipe.
