At P.Diddy’s annual White Party, the rap mogul was serious about his dress code and had no problem turning away those who didn’t make the grade. “Top Chef” hostess, Katie Lee Joel, showed up to the soiree in an outfit that didn’t quite make the cut and was denied access, according to Us Weekly.

“People who arrived in non-white or off-white clothes were given the option to change,” Diddy’s rep confirms. “Ms. Joel showed up in beige or cream and she opted to go home.”

Sorry, Katie. Pack up your knives and go…change. For those who did get past the fashion police, like Star Jones, Mariah Carey and Lil’ Kim, it was a night of live music from a jazz band, Polynesian dancers, circus performers and geishas walking around in full costume and make-up. It sounds like my dream wedding, actually, if you throw in a procession of groomsmen dressed as unicorns. Or a wedding dream I think I had…I can’t remember which.
