Sharon Stone Is in Mensa and Likes Whimsical Political Jokes
The “Basic Instinct” actress will be starring in a series of satirical political “ads,” which she co-wrote with artist Francesco Vezzoli. She and French intellectual, Bernhard-Henri Levy, will be appearing in the fake minute-long ads as “Patricia Hill and Patrick Hill,” who are both vying for president in 2008, according to Page Six.
Stone, said to play a “Hillary Clinton type,” helped Vezzoli write the parody. “It’s a farce,” Stone’s rep told us.
Input for the satire was also received from Bill Clinton’s 1996 creative team, as well as President Bush’s top ad strategist. The spots will be shown at the 51st Venice Biennale and Vezzoli has described them as illustrating “the manipulative strategies of political communication.” OK, this is all very interesting, but seriously–will we be seeing Sharon’s vajayjay? That’s all I need to know.
