A recent rumor that was started (and that we happily perpetuated) that Baby Suri would be the new face of Baby Gap has been refuted by Tom Cruise’s PR rep. Citing the claim as being “totally untrue,” Tom’s rep says that Suri won’t be starting a modeling career any time soon. But Suri’s not the only one with rumors floating around about possible future employment. Star magazine reports that Katie is allegedly in talks with producers to try and snag the leading role in the movie version of the Wonder Woman television series.

“The movie’s only at the discussion state, but Katie feels this role as a kick-ass superhero will put her back in the public eye,” the source says. “She wants to show her stuff, and she wants to prove that she can stand on her own two feet without Tom’s help.”

I don’t know much about Scientology, so I’m wondering if there’s anything about Katie portraying a character flying around in an invisible plane would go against their teachings. Get it? Cause it’s a wacky faith.
