The Game Arrested Over Threat Charges

In today’s news, it has been revealed that The Game was arrested in Los Angeles on Friday over suspicion of making criminal threats.

Although precise details of the allegations are unknown, a spokeswoman for the LAPD revealed that the rapper’s detainment was related to an incident that happened in February, according to the Associated Press. Police conducted a three hour search of the hip-hop star’s home before leaving the property.

Meanwhile, Access Hollywood reports that KABC-TV captured the 27-year-old rapper being driven off in the back of the cop cruiser as a onlooking fan yelled, “We love you Game, we love you.”

The Game stuck his tongue out at the camera and said, “I want to say that I’m not guilty, and I love California.”

The rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, was booked at the police station, and bail was set at $50,000, according to AP reports. Some news agencies have since reported that he’s been released, although nothing has been confirmed at this time.

This isn’t The Game’s first brush with the law. In an amusing story, he was last arrested in November in NYC after authorities said he told a cab driver that he was an undercover police officer, persuading him to run a series of red lights.
