Posh Spice Clearly Has Seen My Sad Little Closet
In Sunday’s L.A. Times Image Section, Victoria Beckham spoke in detail about her upcoming fashion style guide, “That Extra Half an Inch,” and elaborated on her thoughts about the average Hollywood star’s dress sense. She indicated that she felt that many actresses in L.A. don’t bother dressing up and she thinks it’s a shame.
“They dress down quite a lot here, don’t they? It seems to be in keeping to go to Starbucks in tracksuit bottoms and Ugg boots.”:
“I have one pair [of tracksuit bottoms] for non-photographic opportunities only. Underground car parks are fine, but aside from that, no.”
And her fanciness went on to say that she really doesn’t ever dress down, no matter what the occasion. This is awesome. I hope crazy, my-body-fat-percentage-is-subzero Madonna hears that tracksuit comment and figures that it’s aimed specifically toward her. Maybe it will jar her into saying something interesting.
